New 12 string headstock

Hadn't been to Rickenbacker's web site for a long time, and thought I'd
poke around tonight. Ran across a news item that they were introducing a
new style 12-string headstock. The picture that accompanied the news
item looked like the headstock on my old Ric 12-string.

Anyone know what the differences are?

The slots for the second set of tuners are routed straight through the
headstock, that's all!
