I Had To Buy The Janglebox

I just spend two days trying to get the right trebly and jangly sound out of
just about any existing type of guitar/amp and it just isn't working. I went
into the Janglebox website, listened to their demos and realised that I
could no longer postpone the investment, 215 bucks + shipping, but a small
price for getting that sound down.
I hope that it can live up to it. I checked the reviews on Harmonycentral
and everybody there mentioned it's great trebly quality which is all that I
need, standard compression I can get from many other boxes.
This newsgroup has also frequently covered the Janglebox and sometimes with
great enthusiasm, sometimes not. I guess it depends on the amount of treble
you want, and at the moment I want a lot.

Please let us know how you get on with it.
I will, I have thought about buying it since it came out but I always found
it to be a bit expensive. I also have a Carl Martin which is actually even
more expensive so I guess good stuff has a price. Most compressors don't
have any kind of tone regulation (I know Boss does, I have one) and of
course they shouldn't have but for this particular effect it's absolute
neccesary to have that over the top high end so unless you want to buy a
compressor and a eq/enhancer kind of pedal the Janglebox is pratically
without competition.
