Hi Si,
I just found this newsgroup and wonder the same. There is a lot of spam
contaminating this group and it appears that no one is administering it.

I came here looking for information about early 70's 4001 basses.
Nothing has been posted about that for a couple of years.

This used to be a very active group. Even Ric CEO John Hall was a
regular until being essentially chased off by internet assholes. Now
everybody's gone.
